The Be’eri Gallery, which was burned to the ground on October 7th, is reopening in Tel Aviv, where it will operate in the coming years while Kibbutz Be’eri undergoes its process of rebuilding and renewal.
The gallery is relaunching with an exhibition by Mati Elmaliach, originally scheduled to open on October 20th, which has patiently awaited the completion of the new space.
The reopening was made possible thanks to the collaboration of many partners, in a project led by Revital Ben-Asher Peretz, which drew in numerous talented and dedicated individuals who sought to support the rehabilitation of both the Be’eri community and the Negev region.
For this, we — together with the Be’eri community, which is rising with determination from the ashes toward a worthy and hopeful future — are deeply grateful.
We hope that the chaos which gave birth to this collaboration between the Negev and the center will continue to resonate into the future, fostering a more fluid, vital exchange of ideas, skills, and outstanding art.
