גבריאלה קליין היא ציירת אמריקאית/ישראלית המתגוררת ועובדת בתל אביב. קליין מציירת במגוון חומרים על נייר ובד ויוצרת ציורי קיר תלויי מקום. היא בעלת תואר ראשון מ- Massachusetts College of Art, בבוסטון ותואר שני מבצלאל האקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב והאוניברסיטה העברית ירושלים. זוכת פרס רפפורט לרכישות מוזיאון תל אביב, פרס עידוד היצירה ממשרד התרבות והספורט, מענק מפעל הפיס לספר אמנית ושהות אמנים באוסטריה ובסין. קליין הציגה בתערוכות יחיד וקבוצתיות רבות בהן מוזיאון ישראל, מוזיאון תל אביב, מוזיאון חיפה, מוזיאון אשדוד, גלריה בארי, הירקון 19, סדנאות האמנים תל אביב, גלריה מאיה, גלריה נגא, גלריה ברבור, הביאנלה לרישום וביאנלה הרצליה.
"עבודות הציור שלי נשענות על מסורת ציור המתבונן בעולם. נושא עבודותיי נמצא בסביבתי המיידית, בחיי היום יום—גופי, ביתי ובני משפחתי. הפרספקטיבה בה המוכר הופך ללא מוכר מחולל את המסתורי ו"האלביתי" שאני מבקשת שיהיה נוכח בציור הסופי."

Gabriella Klein is an American/Israeli painter currently residing and working in Tel Aviv.
Klein works in various mediums on paper and canvas and creates site-specific wall murals.
Klein studied at The Art Institute of Chicago and holds a BFA from MassArt Boston (1995), and an MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design/Hebrew University (2005).
Her paintings and site-specific wall murals have been exhibited at galleries and museums in Israel, Europe, and the U.S., including The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Israel Museum, Ashdod Museum of Art, The Israel Drawing Biennial, and numerous gallery exhibitions.
Klein participated in artist residencies in Austria and China, is the recipient of an Israel Ministry of Culture Award, Israel Lottery Grant, and an America-Israel Cultural Foundation Grant. Her work was acquired by the Bruce and Ruth Rappaport Israeli Art Collection for The Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
“I paint subjects that are familiar, including my family, my body, and my immediate surroundings. I see a painting as a stage where I can create an imaginary place, mood, and drama. I am interested in the uncanniness that can exist in a painting when the familiar becomes unfamiliar.”
